On a busy New York street, a couple waits for a yellow cab with none in sight — until the reason reveals itself in the background, where taxis are being pulled skyward by a UFO. Romantic, surreal, and lightly satirical, the work transforms an ordinary moment into something strange, cinematic, and unmistakably playful.
A subtle detail in the composition leaves the street sign intentionally blank, inviting the viewer to imagine their own location or a place of personal meaning.
